World Sight day

The World sight day is celebrated in the second Thursday of the month of October. The day was to focus on the global attention on blindness and vision improvement. 8% of the people are living with blindness over 50 years. The annual World Sight Day provides an opportunity to become more aware and more committed to ensuring the right to sight for all. Hundreds of events are planned to take place all over the world to mark this occasion.
