Brilliant start for India
It was a great day for Indians today as they have started up the Sri Lankan series with a victory. Though the star cricketer of Sri Lanka, Jayasuriya went for a brilliant century, Sri Lanka could not survive. All credit goes to Gambhir and Raina who played slowly and steadily though Sachin went out for a single digit run. All fans were disappointed as Sachin went out for few runs. But Gambhir and Raina brought the game back. They both went for a brilliant half centuries. Last but not least, it was the Indian captain who played steadily at the end and took India to the victory. He was the one who took the winning shot. Jayasuriya was the man of the match for his brilliant century. He is also the oldest cricketer to score a century.
