Have you heard about seat lifts??? It is nothing but the instrument which helps the old and disabled people to get up from their seats easily. But it was very much useful for my mother when she has undergone an operation in her abdomen. She used the seat lifts to get up from the furniture. While we bought her the seat lift it was costly. But I saw a site where the things are so cheap. Enquire the rates before getting it.
