Finally it was Vijay Mallya who bought the items of Gandhiji in an auction in New York. India was worrying about the Gandhi used items which are going to auction in New York as those things are considered as some of the precious things of the man who brought us freedom Gandhiji. His spectacles and clocks came for auction and many Indians were telling that they will win the auction and donate the things to the Indian government. But the man who succeeded in that was Vijay Mallya. It seems that he bought the precious items by paying 1.8 million USD. Each and every Indian has to appreciate his effort and a special appreciation program should be conducted for this great man.
