Jyoti Basu passes away

After fighting for a long with god, Jyoti Basu finally gave up and he passed away on 17th Jan, 2010. He was one of the greatest leaders of the life time. Born in 1912, Jyoti Basu actively participated in many freedom fighting activities which took place before 1947. He was one of the oldest leaders of Marxist communist party. He never became the prime minister of the India, but yet he ruled West Bengal many times. His last rites is planned to be performed with state respect. Many leaders of India have given their message for Jyoti Basu. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told that it’s an end of a long era. Let’s all pray his sole to rest in peace.
