Many unswered questions

In the initial investigation, further more information has come out about the disastrous Air India accident. First thing which was noted was the position of the throttle. It seems that the throttle position was forward and hence it seems that pilot tried to take off the plane by aborting the landing. I think only at this point of time the pilots would have lost the control of the flight. From the information obtained from the data recorder, the pilots didn’t show off any kind of alarm as the plane overshot the runway. The pilots seem to be normal but the Air Traffic Controller warned them as they missed around 2000 feet of runway. I am not sure why the pilots didn’t listen to the warning given by the Air Traffic Controller. Many questions still remain unanswered.
