Sri Lankan cricket team has landed itself in trouble again. The former captain of Sri Lankan cricket team has said that the cricket team has been involved in match fixing from 1992. This created a shock in all cricket fans of both world and Sri Lanka. Earlier, Sri Lankan openers were suspected for a match fixing, but later it was dismissed. Now this news has created a wave among cricket fans. The former captain Thilakarathne has said that he will even release the name of the persons who were involved in the match fixing. Sri Lankan cricket team has dismissed his news and challenged him to prove his allegations. Also they said that since he is in opposition of ruling party, he is speaking like that. Not sure which is true, but one thing which ICC should ensure is that match fixing should be completely eradicated from cricket.

PAC slams Raja

Public accounts committee (PAC) has lashed out on A.Raja for 2G spectrum. It has said that Prime minister of India indirectly gave green signal for the scam which shook the entire country. PAC in its report yesterday mentioned that since Prime minister of India did not act on time, Raja went ahead with his plan. This is an indirect green signal given by PM for the scam. A multi billion scam was unearthed by PAC when it analyzed the cost for which 2G spectrum were sold out for different telecom company. Later in the investigation, it came to know that Raja got bribe from different companies and gave the spectrum licenses for very less cost. This shook the entire country. In the recent charge sheet submitted by CBI, many big head’s of India were mentioned, which includes Tamilnadu CM’s daughter Kanimozhi. Let’s hope that people who were for this scam gets good punishment from justice.

Is Arunima lying?

In one of the shocking news given by Railway Police, it has revealed that it has doubts in the version of story conveyed by Arunima who lost her leg when she was pushed out by robbers. RPF says that the version of story told by Arunima is not matching with the practical conditions. Arunima told that she was about to be robbed by few thieves in a train and when she refused to give the gold ornaments, she was pushed out of the train. When she was pushed out, she fell on the other track and another train rolled over her legs. This is what Arunima told in her statement. But RPF says she was very far away from the railway track which is impossible. Also she mentioned train came very fast, but there is a railway station very close to the spot and how the train would have come very fast? RPF says the probe is expected to be completed in few days. Let’s wait and see whether Arunima gets justice.

IPL is back

After the world cup, it’s time for IPL in India. IPL is famous for its cash rich event happening in the world of cricket in the country where cricket is considered as religion. After 28 years of wait, India lifted the world cup once again and became the champions. It was a fantastic match in which India very easily reached their target. Thanks to the responsible game of Dhoni and Gambhir. Entire stadium landed up in silence as Sehwag and Tendulkar departed early. Later Virat Kohli could not stand long and hence he too left. But Gambhir and Dhoni made sure that India did not miss this golden opportunity of winning world cup in India. Gambhir got out in 90s, but Dhoni still played. Yuvraj gave him company.
