Indian cricket team disappointed its huge cricket fans in India by losing the first test match against the Australians in Australia. The much awaited series of India and Australia started off with a winning note for the Australians. India controlled the match very well, but few errors cost them the match itself. In the first innings, Indian bowlers restricted Australia for a score of just 300+. Indian batting attack started off very well with Sehwag. After he departed, the experienced batsmen of Indian batting line up, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar maintained a good balance to pile up runs. Unfortunately, Sachin got out with just 3 balls to spare for the day. This was the turning point of the match. After Sachin’s wicket, the batting line up of the Indian team collapsed and India managed to take aup a score of just 250+. Australians again started off their innings and Ponting and Hussey contributed well for their score. But Indian bowlers again bowled very well to bundle Australia for a score of 200+. With a target of 293, India was all out just for 160 runs. This became an embarrassing lose of Indians in Australia. Hope they bounce back in the next match and make a history by sweeping the test series.
