Japan now a nuclear power free country

Have you seen any country which has shut down all its nuclear reactors and depending on electricity on other sources? The answer was not there till today, but today the answer is Japan. Yes, Japan has shut down all its reactors and staying away from nuclear energy of any form. Japan is the country which is worst affected by nuclear bomb. They now decided not to use nuclear energy even for peace. This decision was taken after the core melt down which happened in Fukushima reactor melt down due to a massive Tsunami which hit Japan a year back. Due to the melt down, there was radiation leakage and hence many people were affected. The area was sealed off and people in the locality were shifted safely. In order to ensure that no such accidents happen again, Japan has taken the decision of no nuclear reactors in their country and with this Japan has become a nuclear power free country. Also Japan has said in case of a power shortage, they may restart the nuclear plant but only after doing upgrades to withstand quake and also with resident approval. Japan always stands as a very good example for other countries.
