I saw a saying in one of the auto rickshaw which said “Until the last drop of water is polluted and the last tree is cut, man will not realize that he cannot eat money”. This is cent percent true as man does not care anything about cutting the trees down. This was proved by the mayor of Coimbatore in which he passed a resolution against the NGOs who oppose cutting down of trees for road widening works. The resolution advised to start criminal proceedings against the NGOs who oppose felling down of trees. The moment when I read this news, I remembered of the saying which I mentioned in the beginning. India must be the only country in which Gundas and Gangsters are roaming freely outside the jail and good people who oppose the government are inside the jail locked behind the bars. I am still wondering why there is no law which checks out the cutting of trees when a development work is happening. Even in Chennai recently many trees were cut down for construction of metro train and flyover bridges. I am waiting for the day in which man really realizes the need for the trees which is actually our life savers.

Naxal menace continues in India

The naxal group which was declared as a terrorist group has started their work again. They have started kidnapping top officials and they are demanding for the release of their workers in prison. Couple of months ago, they kidnapped 2 of the Italian tourists who came to visit naxal affected areas. One of the tourists were released, but the another one was held hostage for many days after which they demanded for the release of their people in jail. Once they succeeded in releasing them, they released the tourist. Since an Italian tourist was abducted, it became a diplomatic problem between India and Italy hence India was forced to act and ensure the safe release of the Italian hostage. Since their first mission succeeded, they are again repeating a similar hostage crisis and this time it’s the district collector. They abducted the district collector now and they are demanding the release of few of their workers in jail. For the past few months their menace is getting uncontrollably high. With Indian government just watching them without taking any action, they continue their killing spree in the north eastern parts of India. I hope Indian government wakes up before these local terrorists link themselves with international terrorists like Let or Al Qaida.

I know many people who talk about instinct many times, but I never believed that until I realized last week. Morkel slammed the ball for 3 sixes, 2 fours and a double which added up to 28 runs. In the final over turning point again came in when Morkel was caught in the deep. But Jadeja and Bravo ensured that the day belonged to Chennai with no doubt. They reached the second highest successful run chase in IPL. The entire stadium roared for the victory.
