Match fixing hits back the world of cricket. But this times its not any international cricket, it’s our own Indian Premier League and another shocking info is that the player who was involved in this match fixing is the international cricket player Sreesanth. Along with Sreesanth 2 more Rajasthan Royals players were arrested to be involved in pot fixing. It is said that these 3 players were in touch with many bookies and they also decided the number of runs to be scored based on the request from bookies. Sreesanth was involved in this spot fixing in many IPL matches and the breakthrough was brought up by a secret investigation by the Delhi Police. It was said that Sreesanth used a towel to indicate bookies in which over they need to fix. If the towel is visible from his pocket, that was the over bookies need to book the money based on the earlier plan made with Sreesanth. Also Delhi Police came to know that bookies used to lure players with girls and money. Now Sreesanth and other 3 players are in police custody and Delhi police is saying that they are very broken and they keep crying in each and every investigation that they are doing with them. After a long time, the match fixing scam has hit back the international cricket. Hope the Delhi Police somehow recovers the money used for spot fixing.

Without control no process in this world is successful. This goes to the process of music generation too. The only state in the southern parts of India which was under the control of BJP has finally gone to Congress. I am talking about the election results of Karnataka which shook the basement of BJP. Karnataka was the only southern stronghold which was held by BJP and the party felt that they have a good foundation in Karnataka. But what they were unaware of was people were fed up with BJP’s corruption and they already decided to go for a change and the change was none other than congress. Though congress is facing lots and lots of problems with corruption in center, people with no other option for change went to the party to save Karnataka from BJP. BJP also faced a major blow when the lost Yeddyurappa the former CM of Karnataka from their party. As a judicial case of inquiry was pending on him, BJP was forced to remove Yeddyurappa from the Chief Minister posting and also BJP refused to give Yeddyurappa the Chief Minister posting back after the investigations got over. Hence he formed a separate party Karnataka Janata Party and won 8 constitutions. Though he didn’t make any big hit, he did upset BJP’s win in Karnataka. Now congress taking to rule Karnataka, the net big fight will be for the post of Chief Minister. Let’s wait and watch who is becoming the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Boston bombers caught/killed

Within just days after the Boston bombing incident, Boston mainland police have identified the possible suspects and killed one and caught another alive. Boston police took a keen look into various CCTV footages and various photographs sent by people who were there and finally identified the people who dropped the pressure cooker bomb near race’s ending point. They found that two brothers Tamerlan Tsarnaev (Elder) and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (Younger) who both are Chechens. Boston police was in a huge manhunt in the history of United States and they finally heard news that the bombing suspects killed a guard in University of Massachusetts and stole a SUV. Finally there came a stage where the bombing suspects came in face to face with the Boston police officials in which a heavy exchange of firing happened. In this firing incident the elder brother Tamerlan was killed and the younger one was wounded with multiple gun shots. But still he managed to take the car and flee away from the scene. In this fleeing scene the younger brother ran the car over his dead elder brother. Hours after he feld from the scene, police were clueless about the younger brother’s where abouts until when the police department received a call from one of the resident that he is able to see some blood spots in his boat in the rear of his home. Police arrived and finally found the younger brother heavily injured and battling for life by hiding within the boat. He was arrested and taken to a hospital where he is being treated to continue with judicial process.

United States of America was the only proud country in the entire world which did not have any terror attacks after September 2001. But USA cannot say that anymore. Terrorism has again knocked he doors of Barack Obama. A twin blast has rocked the city of Boston where the world famous marathon tournament was happening. The blasts took place at the end line of the marathon where people were crowded to see their people finish the run successfully. Witnesses say that there were twin blasts which happened at a gap of 100 yards. It seems the blast took place almost simultaneously. Many people lost their limbs and there was a splatter of blood everywhere around the blast site. Till now 2 people died and around 60 people were injured. Many of the injured people lost their limbs and hands. Till now no terrorist organization took responsibility for the blast. President Barack Obama has said that people who are responsible for this will be brought to justice. Entire nation was shocked as United States of America was attacked. Currently FBI has taken over the investigation. The outcome of this investigation will help everyone to understand the source of this blast.

After a long gap former president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf has returned back to Pakistan to contest in the upcoming president election which is going to be held in few months. For the first time in the history of Pakistan a political party has completed its five year terms and election is coming up for the country now. Eyeing the general elections former president Musharraf has come back to his country though there were threats for his life. Benazir Bhutto who came back to the country few years back was assassinated and his husband Asif Ali Zardari took the elections and won to become the president of Pakistan. The former president fled the country because he was about to be arrested for various charges against him in his country. Musharraf settled in London these many days and he was living on his own expense and refused to return back to the country. Knowing that he is going to return back to country many terrorist organizations passed life threatening messages to Musharraf as he supported Americans to fight against terror. In spite of the threat he returned back to his country to file nomination for president election. But people are saying that his nomination might get rejected due to various charges against him. Let’s wait and watch what happens.

No Lankan players in IPL matches held in Chennai

The row between Tamils and Sri Lankans has hit the sports arena too. Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Jayalailtha has told that no IPL matches in Chennai will be involved with Sri Lankan players or officials. WiNth this decision Jayalalitha has sent out a strong message to center for its inaction in dealing with the killing of fishermen and the killing of Tamil people in Sri Lanka. IPL governing committee has accepted the demands of Tamilnadu chief minister and said that those matches held in Chennai will not be having any players or officials from Sri Lanka. With this decision, Jayalalitha also has given a huge blow to Hyderabad team of sun risers which is owned by Kalanidhi Maran of sun network. The captain of team is Kumar Sangakkara who is a Sri Lankan. Kalanidhi Maran being a tamilian, will he keep Sangakkara away from the IPL matches? I am sure he won’t as he wants to earn money through these matches. With this decision Jayalalitha has given two blows one is for the center and another is for the opposition DMK. Also Chennai Super Kings team has agreed to remove all Lankan players from their team for this season. Let’s wait and see how far this conflict goes.

Indian cricket team has rewritten the cricket history by taking a clean sweep against Australians in India. Australian cricket team came for a tour to India for playing a 4 match test series. Young Indian cricket team in which many are new to test cricket itself excelled in their own way and ensured that Australians are defeated with no wins for then. India took a clean sweep of 4-0 against Australia. Indian youngsters played very well in both ball and bat. Many thought that retirement of big guns in Indian team will give a permanent gap for Indian test team, but youngsters proved it again. Ashwin was declared man of the series for his excellent 29 wicket haul in the series. In bat Murali Vijay topped the chart with high scorer in the series. I am sure Australia will investigate this horrible defeat to bring their team back into action. Though young Indian guns proved their point in India, they need to prove the point in foreign countries too by playing in bouncy pitches. Let’s hope Indians carry their form to upcoming series happening in other countries and win the matches.

The relationship between India and Italy seems to be strained as Italy government today declared that their marines who are undergoing trial for killing Kerala marines won’t return back to India. Supreme Court of India allowed marines to travel back home to spend Christmas with their family. Italy promised that they will be returning back to India in the mod of February. But now, Italy has taken back their words and now they are saying that they won’t be coming back to India. This blew up as a diplomatic problem as India warned Italy that they will have to face consequences. India always had a peaceful relationship with Italy and both the countries are afraid that their peace will no longer exist. Opposition parties took this as an advantage and they started saying that India is never given the respect which they deserve. India has summoned the ambassador of Italy for India. Government of India also registered a strong protest against Italy’s decision not to send the marines back to India. Also it is said that Italian ambassador might be arrested at any point of time. India always had a troubled relation with other countries no matter whether its neighbor country or country in friendship with India.

India once said that this is a country which lives united out of various diversities. But I think this will no longer be a valid saying in India as various states within India are acting like an individual island. I am writing this article after an in incident in Maharashtra which shook me recently. It seems that the MNS parties who according to me are gundas of Maharashtra have hit the headlines again. This time they slapped a group of parents from Uttar Pradesh who tried to get admission for their children in a local school. The party workers involved in this incident is none other than MNS. This party is very much famous for its Marathi culture and they also have an attitude that Maharashtra is only for Marathi and not for North Indians. They many times hit the headlines for this attitude and this time they have hit the headlines for not allowing an Uttar Pradesh parents to admit their son in a local school. The reason they gave for this act was shocking. They said that North Indian children will take all jobs from Marathi students when they grow up. Also they are told only Marathi should be living in Maharashtra. What I am wondering is how come government is not taking action against this offensive party? Is no Marathi live in other states of India? Let’s see what excuse government is having for not taking action against these gundas.

Afzal hanged to death

After 12 years since the parliament attack, Afzal guru who is the main convict of the attack has been executed. It’s already well known that Indian judicial system is very slow. Afzal Guru, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir, was convicted in 2002 for his involvement with terror groups and he was considered as the main convict of the attack planned and executed by unknown terror groups. All the terrorists were killed in the attack and 7 security guards were killed. All the terrorists had Afzal's mobile number it seems. Also it seems Afzal also conveyed his acceptance statement. The mercy petition filed by his wife was rejected by the president Pranab Mukherjee. Also it seems home ministry sent the recommendation for death sentence to Afzal. The execution of Afzal was kept very secretly with only handful of people aware of the execution. On Saturday morning at around 8am, Afzal was hanged and executed. It seems his family was informed d by speed post about the execution order. A curfew was imposed in Kashmir to avoid any unforeseen incidents.

DMK landed themselves in trouble again by attacking their own party member. This time the victim is Kushbhoo actress turned politician of DMK. Reports say that she was attacked because she allegedly commented about the next successor of DMK president. Few weeks back, Karunanidhi announced that his son Stalin will be his successor as DMK president. Many party members were not happy with this decision and a set of party men are standing against this decision. They claim that there are many senior members in the party, in that case how can Stalin be made the next president? Kushbhoo also questioned the same. But only mistake made by Kushbhoo is that she made this comment in a television channel. She told that there is no need that only sons of a party president have to be next president. This comment made supporters of Stalin very furious and they vandalized Kushbhoo's home. Also they tried to attack her when she went to attend a marriage party in Madurai. Kushbhoo is claiming that her comments were misunderstood and DMK party is saying that they didn’t do any attack on their own party woman. If DMK didn’t do this atrocity, was it any opposition party that did the attack and putting the blame on DMK? There are many unanswered questions in this attack. Hope DMK will soon clear this controversy.

Indian cricket team has again proved that they are talented enough to defeat top teams and they also proved that test matches are still alive in a country which is crazy about twenty overs match. I am writing these words after India defeated Australia in Chennai in a fantastic manner. Australia is in a tour to India for a 4 match test series in which the first match was played in Chennai. Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Indian spinners left Australian batting lineup lingering. Ashwin dominated from the beginning and he knocked 7 wickets in the first innings and 5 wickets in second innings. Totally it was 12 wickets for him. But the show was stolen from Ashwin by the skipper Dhoni who knocked a spectacular double hundred. Dhoni becomes the first Indian wicketkeeper to score a double hundred. Ashwin contributed much with ball and Dhoni dominated the bat. India finally defeated the Aussies by 8 wickets. Man of the match award was given to Dhoni for his first double hundred. Next match is scheduled to happen in Hyderabad. I am sure that Aussies will hit back in the second test match.
